I was hoping after last season's injured plagued few months I wouldn't have to make another list of all the people we are currently playing without and why. But alas, here we are again because the injury bug has arrived and is wreaking all kinds of havoc on the Bruins. So here's our list.
1. David Krejci
David Krejci has been in and out intermittently all season due to a pesky lower body injury that just doesn't seem to want to go away (seem familiar anyone? I'm looking at you Quaider). Krejci has not played with the Bruins since our 5-2 win over the Oilers, which for those of you who don't know was a week ago today. Yikes.
The Bruins are definitely feeling the effects of not having Krejci centering us. We definitely miss him in the face off dot and that veteran level headness that we're so accustomed to from him is not an easy thing to replace. The Bruins have resorted to replacing him with Chris freaking Kelly (because that's obviously the best possible move because you know Chris Kelly is such a great asset to us...). Yuck.

2. David Warsofsky
David Warsofsky has been out since Novemeber 7th when coach announced he would be out for a while with what was soon said to be a groin strain. This isn't a huge loss for the Bruins, it just means we lose a bit of the depth that we had previously. Warsofsky will be out for 2-4 weeks with this injury.

3. Zdeno Chara
This still breaks my heart. Obviously Big Zee is still out with his knee injury and will be out for a couple more weeks at a minimum with it. I don't even have to say the loss we're feeling without Chara on the blue line and in front of the net. His leadership was also a huge asset for us and without it we're looking pretty helter skelter at points.
However, you can definitely point to our five game win streak without Chara and to the fact that we have somehow kept our heads above water in the 3 weeks we've been without him. But then I'd tell you that the teams we've played in that time haven't been the greatest teams in the league and point to the fact that we got demolished last night when we played a team with an actual offense. So, it's a tough situation to say the least.

4. Kevan Miller
Kevan Miller has been out since October 20th with an upper body injury. He traveled with the team on this back to back road trip but didn't play yesterday and will not be playing tonight against the Canadiens. Again, he's not necessarily the biggest loss right now for us. He's another one of those depth players that we have to go without and he would be helpful with his experience on the blue line, but it's not the end of the world right now.

And that my friends, is our list of injured. I'll update this as more information becomes available on the situations.
