In the first of two meetings this season, the Bruins (28-13-2) take on the LA Kings (26-13-5) hoping to rebound from the loss against the Ducks and get some momentum to finish the road trip out right.
We aren't expecting any roster changes to come this game. Loui Eriksson has been cleared for contact but coach said he is doubtful for tonight's game. Lucic seems to have recovered from the illness that got him scratched from the game against the Ducks.

Team Stats
Team: The LA Kings are coming into this game after a 2-1 loss to the Minnesota Wild on Tuesday. The Kings are third in the Pacific Division with 57 points, putting them just three points behind the Bruins next opponent, the San Jose Sharks. The Kings have a +23 goal differential with an average of 2 GA/game and 2.5 GF/game. They are 14-5-3 this season at home and this is the second of a four game home stretch for the team.
Players: This team is slightly less threatening offensively than the Ducks with 114 GF in 44 games vs. the Ducks 151 in 45 games. Even so, they are still offensively talented. 18 of their players have positive ratings ranging from Mike Richards +1 to Anze Kopitar's monstrous +21. The others range from -1 to Frattin's -7. Of no surprise, Kopitar leads the team with 35 points off 13 goals and 22 assists. Jeff Carter leads the team with 15 goals.
Goalie: Jonathan Quick is getting the nod in tonight's game. Quick is notably one of the better goalies in the league and has been named to the US Olympic hockey team. He has been injury plagued this season though, so he's only played in 18 games with an 11-5-1 record. He has a 2.19 GAA and a .910 SV%. He has some issues with block high shots.
Of Note: Jeff Carter has four goals in six games for the Kings.

Team: As we all know, the Bruins are coming into this game after losing to the Ducks 5-2 with a record of 2-3 in their last 5 games. The Bruins are still at the top of the Atlantic Division with 58 points though. Right now we have a +32 goal differential and we're averaging 2 GA/game and 3 GF/game. We are 10-9-0 away this season.

Goalie: Rask will be our goal tender tonight. Rask has a 21-10-2 record with a 2.05 GAA and a .930 SV%.
Of Note: Paille has score four goals in the past four games. Iginla has give goals in the last seven games.

Keys to Tonight's Game
The biggest issues we had last game was scoring, net front support for Rask and our penalty kill. So, to put it simply, we need to go high on Quick, shut down shooting lanes in our own zone to protect Rask and somehow find a way to be an efficient, brick wall-like penalty kill without Seidenberg. This may be difficult, but I think we can do it.
Score Prediction: 3-2 Bruins Win
Until after the game,
