The Bruins will be rolling with only 5 dmen once against after Johnny Boychuk was evacuated from the ice early in the first period.
While chasing a pass from Iginla, Boychuk was skating toward the boards when Montreal's Max Pacioretty boarded him. Boychuk went down and did not get back up. He was taken out of the rink on a stretcher in a neck brace. He has been transported to a local Montreal hospital for evaluation.

The hit was legal and Pacioretty was given a 2 minute boarding penalty.
Update: as of 8:45pm Boychuk has full movement in all his extremities.
Update: as of 9:27 Boychuk spoke to his brother and said it seems like everything is okay. This doesn't mean Boychuk isn't injured though.
Update: 10:00 Joe Haggerty says, per a source, it is a lower back injury for Boychuk and the injury is not expected to be serious. However, the full extent and the details about the injury are not yet known.
Update: 10:50 Johnny will be travelling back to Boston with the team.
Update: 12/6 at 2:30 Johnny Boychuk has gone in for an MRI on his lower back.
Update: Johnny Boychuk has a back sprain and will be out 3-7 days
