The Bruins appear to finally be back on track to being completely healthy with a few New Years Day miracles.
The Bruins have cleared Carl Soderberg and Dougie Hamilton to play and they are expected to return to the line up tomorrow against the Predators.
Soderberg missed the last two games with an undisclosed injury resulting in the call up of Nick Johnson from the AHL to fill in. Johnson has since been assigned to Providence.
Hamilton has missed 10 games since sustaining an undisclosed lower body injury in December 8th's game against the Toronto. If he does end up in the line up tomorrow it can be assumed Bartkowski will be the healthy scratch.
The return of Hamilton is going to give the B's struggling defense a much needed boost and will hopefully help to counteract some of the negative effects of losing Seidenberg. Ideally, Hamilton will begin to pick up some of the extra minutes and help better distribute the pressure being put on our current d-pairs.
On another high note, Chris Kelly, who suffered a broken ankle on December 7th vs. Pittsburgh, will begin skating with the team again soon.
With these Hamilton and Soderberg healthy, the Bruins' injury list now only features Loui Eriksson, who is skating but isn't close to being able to take contact, Chris Kelly and Dennis Seidenberg.
We're so close guys!
