Tonight's game should be winnable for the Bruins but it is the second game in a back to back and we are on the road. With our record vs. theirs I want to say I have no doubt that the Bruins will pull it out but *knocks on wood* it's hard to tell.
But on a brighter note, we will see the return of the one and only Jaromir Jagr. Jagr has been incredible for the Devils this season, which is unfortunate since the Devils won't be doing anything effective at the end of the season.
The Bruins go into tonight's game missing Adam McQuaid, who at this point I don't even know still exists. We also may not see Johnny Boychuk tonight, who is day to day with a leg injury sustained after an awkward collision with the boards.
Projected Bruins Line Up
Players: 17 of their guys have negative ratings ranging from Zajac's -1 to Bernier's -15. 5 of their players are even while the rest are positive ranging from Ruutu's +1 Jagr's +15. Jagr leads the team with 58 points (25th overall) while Henrique leads the team with 23 goals (32nd overall).
Goalie: Schneider will more than likely get the nod for tonight's game. He's played in 36 games with a 12-14-9 record. He has a 2.12 GAA (14th overall) and a .915 SV% (37th overall)
Of Note: Jagr has three goals and six points in his last 6 game.
Players: Of the people who we see regular in games, no one has a negative rating, which is fantastic. Campbell is the only one with an even rating and everyone else is positive ranging from Thorty's +2 to Krejci's +33. Krejci leads the team with 59 points (24th overall) while Iginla leads the team with 25 goals (23rd overall).
Goalie: Chad Johnson will probably be getting the nod tonight. He's played in 21 games with a 14-3-1 record. He has a .921 SV% (22nd overall) and a 2.15 GAA (15th overall)
Of Note: Iginla has a five game point streak with six goals and seven assists in that time span.
Score Prediction: 4-1 Bruins Win
Keep calm and Bergeron!
