So this preview is going to be a short one (what with Thanksgiving prep and all).
But the Bruins (16-6-2) will face off against the Detroit Red Wings (11-7-7) tonight in Detroit hoping to bring our win streak to three games and get another two points. Last time we played the Red Wings we lost 3-2 off goals from Zetterberg, Weiss and Cleary.

The Red Wings are a team with insane offensive potential (Datsyuk anyone?) but for some reason they're having a very hard time capitalizing on it. They've lost 8 of their last 10 games and have a -7 goal differential. The team as a whole is just struggling.
And with a struggling team like Detroit, we should have no problem beating them. After our beautiful win against the Penguins, the Bruins should be coming into this game with some confidence and some momentum. It only helps that there is a possibility that Adam McQuaid, who has missed 8 games, will return to the line up tonight.
In order to win this game, the Bruins can't get arrogant and assume that, because the other team is doing poorly, that it will be easy to win. Every time we do that (which is much too often) we either lose or get very close to losing the game. We need to play that solid 60 minute and we need to cover guys like Datsyuk at all times. No holey defense nonsense and we need to focus on keeping the pressure up, making traffic in front of the net and just shooting the puck.

Here are my three players to watch tonight:
1. Reilly Smith
2. Torey Krug
3. Carl Soderberg
All three of these guys have been so great for our team lately. They're scoring goals, making plays, helping maintain pressure and just overall proving their worth to the team. With their speed and hockey sense, they're going to a big part of our offense tonight.

Score Prediction: 4-2 Bruins Win
Until after the game,
